Privacy policy

Your calculations never leave your browser. 1plus1 is a static site: there is no user account, no login, no database of visitors and no server-side record of what you type into a calculator.

None of this is transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

• Your language choice, kept in the address of the page you are on.
• Your currency choice, stored in your browser’s local storage.
• Your light or dark theme choice, stored in your browser’s local storage.
• The values you enter in a calculator, which may appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share the exact calculation.

Our hosting provider records standard technical request logs (IP address, date, requested page, user agent) for security and diagnostics. They are kept for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.

Pages may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set cookies or read identifiers to select and measure ads, including personalised ads where you have consented. You can review and change those settings at any time in your Google Ads settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through the industry tools listed on this page.

Advertising is placed outside the calculation area and never receives the values you type.

If audience measurement is enabled, it is a privacy-respecting tool that counts page views without cookies and without cross-site identifiers. It records the page, the referrer, the country and the device type — never the contents of a calculation.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, write to hello@1plus1.cc and we will look into it.
